Renowned for its reliability, security and flexibility Linux is finding its way to corporate environments, in the mean time loosing its label of "alternative" and "experimental" operating system. Thanks to Linux's cross-platform architecture more and more companies have already adopted Open Source software, today Linux runs on servers, workstations, mainframes, PDA's and embedded devices and the list keeps growing. Companies such as Shell, Cisco and NASA have already implemented Linux in their working environment.
